| The 10th Annual Gospel Echoes Team benefit golf outing is scheduled for June 28, 2008. GET Golfin’ is a four-man best ball scramble with the proceeds from this outing going to provide Christian Literature and Programming to prisons. The need for Christian literature continues to grow, and your participation assists us in meeting this need. We invite you to use your golfing abilities to impact lives for eternity. We have several exciting features again this year, including a putting contest and a “hole-in-one” car give-away. A “Shotgun Start” is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Spring Meadow Farm Golf Course. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. with lunch (included in your registration fee) at 11:30. To register a team, please call Gospel Echoes at 573-5330221 The cost is $65.00 per person and $260.00 per team if pre-registered by June 16, 2008. After that, the cost is $70.00 per person and $280.00 per team. Included in this price are your greens fees plus the driving range, a cart, and lunch. For those interested in sponsoring a hole at this event, hole sponsorships are $200.00. Sponsors will have their name or business name posted on the golf course. You will receive a tax deductible receipt. | The Gospel Echoes Team 20th annual Benefit Auction raised 100, 935 dollars for prison ministry. The event was held at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds in Goshen, IN April 11 and 12, 2008. An I-pod with a collection of Gospel Echoes recordings dating back to the early '70's was sold on Saturday afternoon bringing $900.00. The sale included quilts, crafts, furniture, food, tools, collectors items and a large variety of miscellaneous items. The Gospel Echoes Read-A-thon Grand Prize winners were announced during the Friday night open house. The Read-A-Thon involved children from 27 area churches raising over 32 thousand dollars. The Read-A-Thon helps to support the on-going Bible Study Correspondence course ministry to prison inmates all across North America. |

| The Gospel Echoes Team 19th Annual benefit Auction raised $87,000.00 for it's prison ministry. The weekend started off with a Haystack Supper that served over 1300 guests. An estimated 1800 attended the event, which included a concert by the Gospel Echoes Harvest and New Life Teams. Items were sold on auction Friday night as well as Saturday. Visitors attending the auction came from Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, California, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. The generosity of those in attendance was expressed by their giving and support of the Gospel Echoes ministry. Kevin Miller, Funding Committee chairman, Funding Committee Members, the Women's Auxiliary, along with over 100 volunteers, worked together to make this auction a great success. | ||

| Amy Beachy March 10, 1938-June 27, 2005 Amy Ellen Miller Beachy, 67, 506 Colorado Street, Goshen, died at 9:16 p.m. Monday as a result of an auto accident at Lombardy Drive and C.R. 38, Goshen. She was born March 10, 1938, in Elkhart County to Anan E. and Alma (Miller) Miller. She married Marvin Ray Beachy April 10, 1961, at Pleasant Grove Mennonite Church. He survives. She was a homemaker and, along with her husband, started Gospel Echoes, which grew into a prison ministry throughout the United States and Canada. She was an avid reader and a member of the Mount Joy Mennonite Church. Survivors include three daughters, Catherine (Kenton) Yoder, New Paris, Margaret (Devon) Miller, Centreville, Mich., and Genevieve (Brian) Gerig, New Haven; a son, Jonathan (Rita) Beachy, Macon, Ga.; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Miller, Goshen, and Mary (Alvin) Miller, Middlebury; and three brothers, Raymond (Marie) Miller, Pisgah Forest, N.C., Willis Miller, Goshen, and her twin, Amos Miller, Lakeland, Fla. She was preceded in death by a brother, Elva Dean Miller, her parents and her stepmother, Lovina (Weaver) Miller. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, Goshen. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
